End of Summer Into Fall Fishing Report

Well, we have managed to avoid the red tide thus far, thank the fishing gods. To start with, although there have been many fish caught with the smaller than normal white bait (Spanish Sardines and ThredFin Herring) my usual Phat Hart’s Landing Shrimp have been making my fishing clients smile. We’ve set the hook in many Mangrove Snappers this season, and the last few days have provided us with some early mornin’ Phatties 14” Snappers are sure nice on a hot day. I’ve seen a few nice Kingfish and some Cobia landed also within the last few days, right before the storms come in and drench us. I’m sure lookin’ forward to October and November’s cooling transitional waters to bring those crab-trap lovin’ Tripletail and Cobia back closer to shore. With the economy the way it is, i’m offering $50 off your next 4 Hour charter and as always this includes all the beverages, Quality Penn Tackle, Photos, A Great Attitude. Holla When Ready! Cap’n Doug signin’ out.
